You don't need to defend your point every single time, because the more you do it the more you seem to try and push your faith on others. There are even variations in the practices of even well known religions.

What I am trying to say is relax, don't be so defensive. I acknowledge that you are very enthusiastic about this subject matter. However your word is not the only truth out there. Just be aware of that and have nice discussions. Otherwise I'm going to have to make a second visit and this one won't be a friendly suggestion.

I believe often when I become, as you say, overly defensive or whatnot is when someone directly is challanging a thing I said and trying to discredit or counter it. When that happens, I don't think its uncalled for to counter the counterarguments and defend my point, otherwise my point simply becomes invalid or the entirety of the idea and discussion does not come out. As far as I can tell, in any case, I have been keeping within the bounds of the Community Policy and forum rules.

I'm not sure if you're saying I shouldn't actually believe in my own point. I understand other people believe differently, and in some matters they may be right or wrong, or it may not matter, or there may not be a right or wrong. But, especially on points of religion and faith, if I don't act as if I at least believe my own religion, then its simply useless and I have no right speaking about it.

I am not trying to force myself or my faith on others, and I'm sorry if it seems that way. I do however defend my faith and my reasoning in general when it is attacked, and I do try to clerify descrepencies when I know of some clearification.
I have admitted mistakes in certain areas, and I have conceded points in some as well.

I speak from the point of view of christianity since that is the point I know and my own point unless a discussion is about something other than christianity, during which i speak from what I know of whatever else. But I am also not a relativist. I believe in certain matters that there is an absolute truth, although I do not think I neccessarily have or understand that truth in all situations.

But as for your comment about me being muted before, if you check on that situation, I was muted not for anything I did, but because of a mix up when my roommate during the previous year signed up and someone thought I was making duplicate accounts. theres even a video around about that, not a particularly intersting one, but its around, I sent the link to LJ, and it might still be in Marissa's guestbook.

Well don't I feel dumb now.
There were other ways I could have pursued this originally. I obviously picked the wrong one. Taking into account what you've said this was a huge misunderstanding on my part which brings me to the next point: ignore what I said earlier.

With that said I doubt highly I'd have to ever post in your gb again.

I must admit though that I weren't sure wether you were attacking me or adding support to my claim that Lucifer (amongst other denizens of hell) were somewhat fabricated to their current functions not originally intended.
